Campers Served:
Persons of varying disability and functionality are encouraged to apply. Typical camper disabilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Down Syndrome
- Autism
- Cerebral Palsy
- Spina Bifida
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Muscular Dystrophy
- Secondary Emotional Disorder
- Mental Retardation
- Cri-di-Chat
- Deaf/Hearing Impaired
- Blind/Visually Impaired
- Seizure Disorder
Age Range:
The established age range of Camp Hope campers is 11-30.
Camper's Locale:
Currently, most of our campers reside in the Chicago-land area. However, we will accept campers from other areas of Illinois and the United States.
Camper Application Process (FACT SHEET):
- The camper application process begins February 15.
- Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- We accept 20 campers per session (10 male, 10 female).
- The registration fee is $300, although some scholarships are available.
