The energy level and excitement at Virtual Camp Hope 2021 was electrifying! The Camp Hope spirit was strong throughout the entire week, over Zoom, with rockstar campers and superstar buddies dancing to the beat, sharing smiles and laughter and importantly, showing the true magic of Camp!
We thank all our Associate Board members, Camp Committee leaders and our Special Camp Guests for taking the lead and working tirelessly to organize and enable an exciting and exhilarating Camp experience.

“Camp in a box” deliveries were made to all our local campers by several Camp buddies. For those campers that could not enjoy the online experience, extra time was set-up and spent with their buddy friends so the Camp Hope Camp spirit could be felt by all.

The computers were powered up, tattoos applied, Camp shirts on, and it was time for Rock & Roll! Smiles were contagious and the energy was electrifying!

The day began with everyone sharing their creative artistry and exchanging personalized gifts that made all our campers know they are loved! The party began latter in the day with everyone dressed in “Rock n’ Roll” style and ended with our first ever “Minute to Win it” games. The talent shared by all was amazing!

TUESDAY
It was time to get some exercise with the Lake Forest High School Pom Team teaching us a new dance and cooling down with a Camp Hope Yoga Session led by Nicolette Stern. Later in the evening our annual campfire and musical extravaganza with Richard Neuhaus and his incredible team of drummers.

Everyone’s knowledge of Rock ‘N’ Roll was tested with a new trivia competition and then we welcomed Highwood’s ”School of Rock” to teach us about the history of Rock ‘N’ Roll. IN the evening, we celebrated with our annual Camp Hope talent show featuring our incredible Rockstar campers!

We welcomed back the reptile expert, Dave, and his fantastic Reptile World! Later in the evening we celebrated with Awards night and many kind words shared between campers and their buddies!

For our last day, we enjoyed a Camp Hope tradition, McDonald’s lunch and singing our favorite songs that made our voices sing loud and hearts filled with love!
